Best History Podcasts to Listen to

History is one of my favorite subjects while I was attending high school, as the saying goes, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it", this saying comes from the writings of George Santayana, a Spanish-born American author of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Hence it's necessary for us to learn the history that can enlighten us to consider further about our real life. Furthermore, major social events that happened in the past tend to reveal the law of society.

Meanwhile, history paints us a detailed picture of how society, technology, and government worked way back so that we can better understand how it works now. It also helps us shape the future since it allows us to draw lessons from our past mistakes or victories. Beyond that, history gives us motivation as well. For instance, the inspiring speech 'I Have a Dream' delivered by Martin Luther King Jr. on August 28, 1963, has raised a revolution on chasing freedom among millions of people who were being oppressed at that time. And here is another case kicked off in present society: On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court of the United States issued a landmark ruling declaring that the Constitution guarantees to same-sex couples the freedom to marry, which is a milestone in the fight for the rights of the LGBT community.

Then how can we learn history as we've off school now? Here are several ways to go: Watching videos, reading books, or even listening to podcasts. If you ask me what's the most convenient one among these 3 methods, then I would recommend the podcast without hesitation! Listening to the podcasts is very unrestricted, unlike the videos or books, you don't have to stare at the screen or letters all the time, that sounds better since it prevents your eyes from feeling tired, right? Best of all, you can also do something else while listening to podcasts, such as cleaning the house, cooking dessert, and so on. And today I about to share my favorite history podcasts to you all, if you're happen to seek some top podcasts to kill your time, then just check them out below!
