OnePlus x Hasselblad: Stunt or Superb

Mar. 23, 2021, the OnePlus 9 series arrived as scheduled. As the new flagship of OnePlus in 2021, the OnePlus 9 series has attracted the attention of global media and users due to its cooperation with Hasselblad. Can the OnePlus 9 series stand out in such a fiercely competitive mobile phone industry? We got the OnePlus 9 Pro at the first time and get a quick start to the machine. Let us talk about our first impression and our most real feelings at OnePlus 9 Pro.

Fast Review:

In terms of performance, OnePlus 9 Pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor which is the flagship processor in 2021. In order to be able to make a more objective evaluation, we have performed the real experience of some mainstream mobile games. From the gaming experience, OnePlus 9 Pro can almost keep running games at full frame, which can maintain relatively good fluency during the game. More importantly, the temperature of OnePlus 9 Pro is better than smartphones that are also equipped with Snapdragon 888.

The cameras of OnePlus 9 Pro is the biggest feature that we focus on. OnePlus 9 Pro has a quad rear cameras which cooperate with Hasselblad, a well-known camera manufacturer, to improve the color calibration and reproduce as accurately as possible what you have seen. The main camera is a 48MP sensor, which uses a Sony IMX789 sensor manufactured in collaboration with Sony. And there are three other cameras on the rear, including a 50MP ultra-wide camera using a Sony IMX766 sensor. There is also an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 2MP monochrome camera. 

Judging from our experience, OnePlus 9 Pro can restore the trueness of colors in the case of sufficient light, while suppression of highlights is remarkable. The main sensor of OnePlus 9 Pro is a great leap than what OnePlus has made before. We found that it could take fantastic images with great-looking colors and masses of detail. If you compare the images to those taken with previous OnePlus phones or other smartphones, you will find that the colors of photos taken by OnePlus 9 Pro are far more natural. The ultra-wide camera of OnePlus 9 Pro is equipped with a new distortion-correction technology, which can greatly minimize the barrel distortion that typically appears at the edges of ultra-wide shots. We are also impressed by the battery life of OnePlus 9 Pro. It is equipped with a 4500mAh battery, which supports 65W fast charging and 50W fast wireless charging technology. With particularly heavy uses, we found that the phone can't make it through for a full day, but fortunately, it has super fast charging which is the highest version we have ever seen. Unlike Apple and Samsung, OnePlus 9 Pro comes with a new charger in the box. OnePlus 9 Pro is indeed a great leap for OnePlus smartphone, at least in cameras. And we believe that if you are finding a powerful smartphone, want good-looking photos, top-class screen, light-weight system and super fast charging, OnePlus 9 Pro is a good choice. If you are an iPhone user, it is suggested that iPhone XS and previous iPhone users can take OnePlus 9 Pro into consideration. Don't worry about the data transfer between iPhone and Android. It won't be a hard job.
